We have recently found out that NALP’s Level 3 qualifications are recognised by UCAS and carry UCAS Tariff points.
This means if you complete NALP’s Level 3 qualifications you earn UCAS points, which can be used to support your applications to UK universities and higher education institutions. You can find the specific UCAS Tariff points awarded for each qualification below and on the UCAS website.

For a Pass Grade
- Level 3 Award in Paralegal Practice: 8 points
- Level 3 Certificate for Paralegal Technicians: 16 points
- Level 3 Diploma in Paralegal Practice: 24 points
- Level 3 Award in an Introduction to Law for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Civil Litigation for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Commercial Law for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Consumer Law and Advice for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Conveyancing for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Criminal Litigation for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Employment Practice for Paralegals: 8 points
- Level 3 Award in Legal Ethics and Responsibilities for Paralegals: 8 points

For a Merit Grade

For a Distinction Grade
