Affiliate membership is available for students and anyone without relevant legal experience or qualifications. It is also available for those who have studied law in another jurisdiction, but who have not covered English Common Law, and who have no legal experience in England & Wales.

Those enrolling on the following courses have their first year’s NALP membership included in the course fee.

Level 3 Certificate for Paralegal Technicians

Level 4 Certificate for Associate Paralegals

Level 5 Diploma for Senior Associate Paralegals

Level 7 Diploma in Paralegal Practice

Level 3 Single Subject qualifications

As a self-regulatory body for NALP Members, we are able to offer a Licence to Practise to our members with appropriate expertise and experience. 

If you are a NALP Associate member (A.NALP), NALP Graduate (Grad.NALP), a NALP Senior Associate (SnrA.NALP ) a NALP Fellow (F.NALP) or a NALP Principal Fellow (PF.NALP) with a minimum of at least three years relevant legal experience during the last five years demonstrating competency in the area(s) of law you may apply for our Licence to Practise.
