Firing real guns

In the UK we have some of the strictest control measures in the world when it comes to giving the general public access to firearms. Laws differ slightly and are generally less restrictive in Northern Ireland.

The UK government banned the private possession of handguns in 1997 after the Dunblane massacre, but citizens are still able to own and shoot some shotguns and rifles, providing they have a license.

If you’d like to try shooting a handgun (at a range with a paper target, not on the streets and certainly not at anything alive) then you’ll need to travel outside the UK.

The guys at the Cracow Shooting Academy are a million miles away from the gun-toting idiots you might find on YouTube. Rather this is a place where they have a respect for the weapons and for their, and your, safety.
